Our Team

Daniel Madison - Master Instructor

I am a member of the Leadership Team and an instructor here at TDT. I was born in May of 1996 and have been with TDT since the summer of 2011 when I joined TDT as a student. By the fall of 2012 I began teaching and enjoyed my role in teaching and ministering to youth. Over the years, I have learned more than just how to dance and teach. I have learned self-confidence and the importance of leading by example. I love being a part of this ministry and would really say that the people here have become another extension of my family. Some of my favorite dances include Waltz, Jive, Polka, and Quickstep. When I am not on the dance floor or in a teaching capacity, you can still find me playing music on the guitar and banjo, serving within my church, or just enjoying the great outdoors with friends. I finished a four-year trade apprenticeship in July 2020 and now work full time as an electrician. I continue to enjoy working with my hands and developing new skills in the trades.

I am looking forward to meeting new students each year and I sincerely hope that you join and help us maintain a friendly, welcoming, and fun-filled atmosphere here at TDT.

Caleb Stettler - Master Instructor

Hello, I am Caleb Stettler! I am one of the lead instructors here at TDT. I have been a part of TDT since 2009. During my time here, I have served in multiple capacities. I have taught the following classes: FootSteps, Intro, Intermediate 1 and 2, and on occasion some steps at Advanced. It is hard to say what my favorite dance is. I love the challenge each dance has to bring. I also have been a member of the Leadership Team since the summer of 2013, as well as a member of the Exhibition Team since 2011. Now, here are some fun facts about me! I have played baseball my whole life, usually in the outfield. I enjoy all outdoor activities and have recently been interested in woodworking. My wife, Lindsey, and I have two pets: a golden retriever and a rescue tabby cat. I have a full-time job in roofing, and I really enjoy construction as well. Being a part of TDT through the years has not only taught me amazing dance skills, but what it also means to be a leader personally and professionally. Most importantly, it has made me aware of what my responsibilities are in marriage with Lindsey. I truly love this ministry, and I am so excited to meet you!

Sam Bausone - Master Instructor

This is my tenth year at That Dance Thing and my eighth year on the Leadership Team. My favorite dance is the Waltz because the pace makes it ideal for conversing with a partner on a more personal level. I feel that TDT has helped develop my professional confidence through emphasis on social skills, while still allowing me to maintain a laid back and jovial personality. I find TDT’s tagline “Grooming Teens for Life” as an undeniable truth while I progress into the working world as a young adult.

Joshua Pierce - Master Instructor

Hello, I am Joshua Pierce. I am 22 years old and have been at TDT for 11 years. I am a fan of good jokes and terrible puns. Two of my hobbies outside of TDT are auto maintenance and reading. Lastly, I am a firm advocate for the rights of pineapple to be on pizza!
In my time at TDT I have developed a more empathetic view of the concerns of others. I have also developed more confidence and been afforded the opportunity to make good friends that I don’t think I would have met anywhere else. I am told that I entered TDT as an angry 12-year old and have ended up as a cool and mellow instructor!

Noah Dunnavant - Senior Instructor

I’ve been a part of That Dance Thing since 2016 and I’ve been a part of the Leadership Team since 2018. I have always enjoyed being a part of TDT and I have not only learned how to dance, but also to lead well, and ultimately how to truly be myself. I enjoy teaching students how to dance as much as I love to dance. It’s amazing to see a class of students learn a step and really enjoy it. TDT has been one of the greatest decisions of my life.

Karielle Belski - Senior Instructor

My name is Karielle Belski. This is my fourth year at TDT, and my third year on the Leadership Team. My favorite dance would probably be the swing or the tango. I love TDT for many reasons, but mostly because I love to dance! I also enjoy singing, acting, and writing.
When I first came to TDT, I didn’t like talking to strangers or being expected to start a conversation. However, after my first semester, I realized there were more important lessons TDT had to offer, not just dancing. One lesson was how to carry on a conversation and be a friend to others. It’s hard to enjoy a dance, even if you know the steps, if you don’t take time to be a good friend. Through TDT, I was able to branch out and start conversations. My lessons learned from TDT have expanded to other places, where now I can truly be the person God wants me to be.

Grace Mondy - Instructor

My name is Grace Mondy.  This is my fourth year of TDT and my second year on the Leadership Team.  TDT has been a tremendous blessing in my life in several ways.  As a student, I loved learning to dance and socialize with peers in a mature, enjoyable, Christian environment.  Besides the dancing, the Waltz and Polka being two of my favorites, and the valuable life lessons, I love the camaraderie and friendships which TDT fosters.  Now, training to be a teacher, I get to build on the initial foundation I developed at TDT, as well as the privilege of watching and assisting others in their own TDT journey.  Through TDT, God has blessed my life in ways I never expected.  I am so excited and honored to participate in such an amazing organization centered on following Christ.

Grace Seo - Instructor

Hi my name is Grace Seo! I have been attending TDT since I was 13! My favorite dances are the Waltz and Rumba! Outside of TDT I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing soccer and volleyball, and pursuing my love of photography. TDT has taught me many lessons and one of those is how to follow and trust my dancing partner. I have learned how to follow my partner, knowing that even if I don’t know the steps or moves, I can trust them to lead me. This is not only something we practice at TDT,  but more importantly it applies to my walk with Christ. I have grown to follow the Lord with confidence, knowing that He will establish a path for me. The steps I take each and every day happen for a reason and He has a plan and purpose behind each and every one of them. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve and dance with you!

Charis Acham - Instructor

Hello! My name is Charis Acham and I have been attending TDT since 2015. It’s hard to say what dance is my favorite but I always enjoy a thrilling, fast swing! In my free time I am a ballet dance teacher, dancer and theatre performer. In addition I love spending my time at TDT. TDT truly feels like a family and every night is a blast. I’ve learned how to carry on conversations with complete strangers while dancing and also have learned to let go and enjoy the moment. I love that the TDT family puts God at the forefront of the mission; at the end of the day, everything we do is to bring honor and glory to Him. Every dance is an adventure and I really hope the students learn to enjoy it as much as I do. “Let them praise his name in the dance:  Let them sing praises unto him with timbrel and harp.” ~ Psalm 149:3
